Claude Code plugin to edit a recorded video

Feature Request

From a recorded project, give Claude Code MCP access to edit the video through natural language. I can give high level director prompt + instructions, Claude chooses the right tools and edits the video himself. I can approve the final version or request edits. Every UI button is mapped to an MCP tool for Claude.

    More automation- and agent-friendly

    I’ve been using Screen Studio with AI/browser automation on macOS, and I’d love to request a more automation-friendly interface.

    I already built working prototypes around Screen Studio:

    So this request comes from real usage, not just theory.

    Screen Studio already has very useful deeplinks like:

    • screen-studio://record-window

    • screen-studio://record-display

    • screen-studio://finish-recording

    That helps a lot, but today automation is still fragile because agents must still:

    • detect the right window/display

    • move the mouse to the target

    • press Enter to confirm

    • recover manually if selection goes wrong

    • manually name/save at the end

    The most helpful improvements would be:

    1. Allow explicit target selection for window/display recording

      Example ideas:

      • screen-studio://record-window?bundleId=com.google.Chrome

      • screen-studio://record-window?windowTitle=My App

      • screen-studio://record-display?id=built-in

    2. Provide a true “start recording now” action once the target is specified in the deeplinks

    3. Expose recording state, so automation can tell whether Screen Studio is idle, selecting, or recording

    4. Allow finish/save to be automated, including filename/output mode

    5. Document the supported deeplinks and parameters, or provide a small CLI/API

    Any news on when this will be available? Almost all creative tools are offering an MCP so LLMs can help optimize workflows.
