+1. Would love to be able to record my video, crop it, and THEN record my voice over the final video rather than speak while I am recording the video.

For me this is about being able to detach the audio from the video so when cutting a bit of recording you can keep the audio. My workflow is basically record in screen studio then adjust zooms then export and import into imovie where I detach audio and edit further. My editing in imove is basic just trimming and cutting bad takes or combining a few recordings.

You click Microphone icon when recording. Or am I missing something? You mean recording your voice after recording original recording?

@Adam Pietrasiak Yes recording your voice after recording the original. Ideally you could edit the voiceover for specific sections/clips (similar to what you can do with descript or capcut)
