Use one single project doe edits

I record a lot of tech tutorials. The problem is, once i stop a recording after 10 mins, and come back after a break, it always creates a new project. So i loose the continuity as to, where did i stop, what did i say etc. Is it possible to continue recording on the same timeline where it was stopped before? All major editors like camtasia does have this absolutely basic feature :( Do i have to keep saving individual projects and stitch them together in some other editor later? I love the smoothness of screenstudio but it essentially killed my workflow.
