Record while exporting

I am currently working on creating tutorials for courses.

As exporting takes a while, I'd like to take advantage of the time by recording more videos while the file is exported. Nevertheless, the application lags because of the exporting process. See the following video for a detailed explanation:

Is it possible to run the app in multi-processes?
