Please can you add separation of mic audio and system audio, a little mixer so we can choose how loud each channel is, and then mono/stereo settings so that I can finally have my mic always in mono and my system audio always in stereo? It's super confusing right now and the AI features on the audio could be great on the mic but never great on the system audio.

This feature would give users the ability to adjust microphone and system volume independently. A simple mixer window (part of the Audio tab) with a couple faders. A SUPER BONUS feature would be the ability to duck system audio when microphone audio is playing.

I’d love to have this. I record videos for work every day, sometimes multiple times, and I have some background music. Workaround is that I need to set my music player to something like 15-20% max for it to not distract from my voice, but it varies depending on my microphone and the music.
It would be awesome to be able to adjust the final volume in Screen Studio before exporting.

100% agree. The normalize function is just distorting my mic audio. Ideally need a separate editable track for the mic audio, isolated from the system sound. Just need basic EQ, compression and limiting

I second this feature request, and would like to add to it. It would be great if voice over audio could be muted during system audio playback.
I also post music production tutorials. And when audio examples are playing, no one wants to hear the narrator breathing, moving around, creaking chairs, or audio bleed from speakers/headphones.
Currently we can only mute for the whole video, not segments of a video.
Perhaps a solution would be to create “layouts” for system audio and microphone audio, much like the layouts for webcam and screen recordings.
