Here's a cleaned-up version:
Feature Request: Cut at Playhead Position
When editing, I play through the video and pause at the exact moment I want to make a cut. But when I hit the cut button, it splits at the cursor's position on the timeline rather than at the playhead (where the video is actually paused). This makes it impossible to use audio/visual cues to find precise cut points, since the cut never lands where I just stopped playback.
Expected behavior: Pressing "cut" should split the clip at the current playhead/pause position, not wherever the cursor last clicked on the timeline.
Why it matters: The whole point of scrubbing and pausing is to find the exact frame. Having to manually drag the cursor to match the playhead adds an unnecessary step and kills precision.
