Audio Improvement Request

I noticed a dithering down of the audio quality, I’m recording on a Neuman and the audio quality should be warm and full, and it sounds like i’m on my laptop mic. There should be some better compression to even out the sound and some gating to mute some background noise. I suggest a comparison to loom and strive to match in some capacity, but as a former audio engineer it very noticeable. Also my volume is much lower in the system, and I can hear electronic nuances on my voice that shouldn’t be. Hopefully this is something that can be addressed as I thing great quality audio is equally important to a great video.
