We need this as we have to use Descript instead for many of our videos just to layer a separate narration track/overdub on top of the Descript video. We'd like to be able to record audio in descript on top of the video. It's hard to record video and perfect audio all in one go.

Almost bought Screen Studio. Would like to but this is kind of a dealbreaker. Good luck with dev and testing. Looking forward to hearing something now.
I’m new to the whole recording product demo scene so it’s a bit difficult for me to pay attention to my script and I get carried away with the demo part.
It would be amazing if we could record a demo first, then in the editor, record a voice over.

Add recording of facecam after editing screen recording
If the editing of the screen recording could be done first and then facecam added after, it would allow for commentary that corresponds better to pauses, zooms, slow motion. Without it this it is like being a weather person on a green screen.

This is the primary feature that has me still using another video editor. I record my screen in Screen Studio, export the video to import for my script read in another tool and try to fake the screen studio animation style.
Coordinating the demo with a perfect narration is hard, is it possible to create a feature where you can record voice overs and record camera post editing the video

Re-record audio to correct speech errors (by punch-in)
To be able to re-record audio bits to correct speech errors throughout a video would be very helpful.
